A number of activists in the Bethlehem area have started a new effort, “Stop the Bleeding of Bethlehem Campaign“. Among these activists are various political factions and popular resistance groups who are active against the wall, settlements and land confiscation and all other forms of the Israeli military occupation in Bethlehem area.
This campaign is totally based on civil nonviolent resistance as its method for resisting the occupation. It succeeds because it utilizes the normal channels of interaction within the local communities in order to ensure maximum participation by the people in these activities.
The campaign runs in high coordination with the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements in Bethlehem area and the local communities where actions are organized.
